Abarkuh (Persian: ابركوه, also Romanized as Abarkūh and Abar Kūh; also known as Abarghoo, Abarkū, Abar Qū, and Abarqūh) is a city in and capital of Abarkuh County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 20,994, in 5,880 families.
Abarkuh is located at an altitude of 1510 metres (4954 feet). An ancient living cypress tree, the Sarv-e-Abarqu, is located here.
