New Jersey's 30th Legislative District is one of 40 districts that make up the map for the New Jersey Legislature. It covers the Monmouth County municipalities of Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell Township, Lake Como, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall Township and the Ocean County municipalities of Lakewood Township and Point Pleasant.
As of the 2010 United States Census, the district had a population of 270,300, of whom 187,524 (69.4%) were of voting age. The racial makeup of the district was 227,611 (84.2%) White, 18,387 (6.8%) African American, 624 (0.2%) Native American, 9,158 (3.4%) Asian, 106 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 9,333 (3.5%) from some other race, and 5,081 (1.9%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 30,319 (11.2%) of the population.
