The Houston Astros 2012 season was the 51st season for the franchise in the National League in Houston, their 48th as the Astros and their 13th season at Minute Maid Park.
This season was also the Astros' last in the National League. As a part of the recent sale of the team from Drayton McLane to Jim Crane, the Astros agreed to move from the NL Central to the AL West starting in 2013.
