Things you can find or post on piglix.org

Question

We chose the word "piglix" as a name for a posting that can be about so many different things that it seemed inappropriate to use any existing name (like "Q&A", "Info", "Data", etc.). You can put almost anything into piglix format and the whole idea is that the content should be useful and interesting to anyone - or just to you.

A piglix is basically a "list" and just like this one, it has a Title, a description (you are reading it) and an unlimited number of items that make up the list. Naturally, we coined the term "piglets" for the items that make up the list.

In the example of the piglix you are reading, It has a title ("Things you can find or post on piglix.org"), this description and then a list of examples of the kinds of things piglix can be used for. You can even add to this list yourself (at least until it is closed).

This description, and the "piglets" can be written using a good deal of styling attributes and can also contain images.

Other users can vote for or comment on each one, making a very useful source for anyone looking for somewhere to eat in your area. Don't forget to mention your area in the title and also with a tag. Place each establishment in a separate piglet so people can vote for them individually.
