The following is a list of games taken from the Super Trio series.

As of season 8, the wrong answer will result in a machine hitting the contestants in the face with a cream pie. Additional pies may be thrown by the hosts (or sometimes other players) to anyone for any reason, such as getting it right, or giving a bad explanation as to why the answer was chosen. The game ends with an IQ question, for which players choose the answerer. If the player chosen gives a wrong answer, they are hit with a pie; if they answer correctly, everyone else will be hit.

In season 9, all contestants have a giant balloon in front of them; if they answer a question incorrectly, the balloon will pop.

For season 8, each contestant must watch, perform, and build upon a dance routine perfectly, or else get eliminated.

In season 9, two people go up, and one of them has to run on a treadmill, which increases its speed as the game goes on. If they slip and fall, their turn is over, even if time has not run out.

In Season 9, two or three of the hosts (instead of professional dancers) would perform a dance, and the contestants would have to copy it.

List of nonlinear narrative television series

Nonlinear narrative is a storytelling technique in which the events are depicted, for example, out of chronological order, or in other ways where the narrative does not follow the direct causality pattern of the events featured, such as parallel distinctive plot lines, dream immersions, flashbacks, flashforwards or narrating another story inside the main plot-line.

In television, there are several examples of works that use this kind of narrative, although not all of them use it in the same way. In spite of it being more commonly used on dramas, it can also found on comedies.

This technique is used for different purposes, such as serving as a narrative hook, to mimic human memory or to explore the past of the story without leaving its present completely aside. In addition, not all television series use this technique in the same extent; some of them use it only in certain episodes, e.g. Fringe, others only in certain seasons, e.g. Breaking Bad, while others do throughout their entire run, e.g. Lost.

Shopping channel

Shopping channels are television specialty channels targeted towards home shoppers consumers by broadcasting product demonstrations or explanations. Many of the major shopping channels broadcast live 24/7, such as QVC and HSN. The format of the show is usually a host with a guest/product expert. The home shopping industry has grown quickly in a short period of time thanks to the rapid expansion of the Internet.

Direct response television (infomercials) is another sector of the home shopping business and does not operate solely on shopping channels. Many major shopping channels disassociate themselves from direct response television, as there is a negative stigma associated with infomercials. Earlier infomercials lacked a stable industry and sufficient product quality control.

Sales Per Minute (SPM) is a key figure used to decide how successful a product is when receiving airtime on TV.

Special awards not included

With nine awards having received in main categories, Adela Banášová is the most successful participant in the so far history of the OTO Awards poll, making her the most voted Entertainer and Host in general. She is followed by Miroslav Žbirka, Marcel Merčiak and Patrik Herman, who each have accumulated seven trophies, these as the most favorite Male Singer, Sports Commentator and TV Journalist, respectively. Herman also holds the record for the highest number of consecutive wins per category.

Including special achievements, Banášová lead with thirteen wins in total, while Merčiak with nine. Besides, he is the only winner having scored at least in two categories per year, both the special (2012) and regular (2015 – 2016). The third participant with the highest number of OTO awards in general, is Actress Zdena Studenková with eight wins.

Within multiple nominees, Žbirka himself remains the most successful to date, having earned sixteen nominations in a row to his credit, all made since the second season of the show. His runners-up are Sportscaster Lenka Čviriková with fourteen nominations, and journalists such as Zlatica Švajdová and Herman; the latter with thirteen nominating bids.
