Kozuchi(上有知 KŌzuchi-cho) is a town that was once in Mugi gun, Gifu Prefecture. It corresponds to the area in the center of Mino City (Mino Town) and along the Nagara river slate. It turns out that this town is the birthplace of Chiune Sugihara.

In 1911 (Meiji 44), this town was renamed Mino Town from Kozuchi town on the old town name in 1911 (Meiji 44). The current Mino City was not a municipal municipal municipal enforcement but a merger / municipal enforcement of Mino Town and the surrounding 6 villages. Here we will talk about Tomochi Kamichi and Mino Town.

Kozuchi-Town is famous for the traditional handmade paper of 1,300 years. In Japan, especially, we can feel the changes of each season clearly. For example, in spring, everything is budding and an energetic season.School begins at the best time of cherry blossom in April. The new leaves turn to deep green in May. The rainy season comes in June. The hot and sticky summer starts in July. After the typhoon season, the cool and dry autumn is coming. Green leaves turn to yellow and red.As soon as the leaves fall, the cold winter comes round. It snows a few times, so we can see a wonderful white view.

Kanamori Nagamasa who fought in the East Army in Sekigahara's battle was sealed from "Tokugawa Ieyasu from" Kuchiyama Kaneyama to Iwasa Taniguchi ", and prosperous in washi and prosperous town construction. At that time the town was in the lowland near the Nagaragawa River, and it was frequently damaged by floods, the Keiyo 10 year (1605) town was moved to the present high place

A scheme designed to attract and encourage tourists, begun in 2004, offers bicycles and electric bicycles for low-price rental. The city has also established a number of cycling paths.
