Yekaterina Yuryevna Volkova (Russian: Екатери́на Ю́рьевна Во́лкова, born March 16, 1974) is a Russian actress of theater and cinema, singer, songwriter, and model.
Yekaterina Volkova was born in the city of Tomsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. She grew up in the city of Tolyatti, Samara Oblast. She graduated from art school in piano and music school as a choir conductor.
In 1995, she entered the Theatre Institute in Yaroslavl. In 1997 the girl came to Moscow, where she entered the Russian University of Theatre Arts. She works in the theaters and appears in films and television series.
In 1992 Volkova appeared in the film Eastern Roman. She starred in such films as The Collector by Yuri Grymov, melodrama About Love based on Anton Chekhov’s stories and directed by Sergei Solovyov, and in the TV series Next. In 2006 Ekaterina got the main role in the film Inhale-Exhale directed by Ivan Dykhovichnyy.
She has a daughter, Valeriya, with Aleksei, her first husband. She divorced her second husband, movie producer Sergei Chliyants.
She was married to Eduard Limonov. From this marriage she has a son, Bogdan (b. 2006), and daughter, Aleksandra (b. 2008). The couple broke up.
