Yan Yikuan (born 24 January 1979), also known as Yan Kuan, is a Chinese actor and singer. He is best known for his roles in the television series Qin Wang Li Shimin (2005), The Last Princess (2008), All Men Are Brothers & The Glamorous Imperial Concubine in (2011), Heroes in Sui and Tang Dynasties (2013).
Yan graduated from the acting department of Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2001 and joined National Theatre Company of China.
In 2011, Yan starred in The Glamorous Imperial Concubine alongside Ruby Lin. The series was broadcast on Hunan TV, and achieved a rating of 3.43, placing first in its timeslot nationally. The series garnered much attention for Yan, who later won the Acting Idol award at the TV Drama Awards Made in China. Yan gained further success after starring alongside Liu Tao in Mazu, which also garnered high ratings.
In 2013, Yan acted in the dramas Heroes in Sui and Tang Dynasties, Lian Le Ai Le and Gui Zhong Mi You, which won him the Breakthrough Actor award at the Asian Idol Awards.
Yan and his girlfriend of five years, actress Sunny Du held their long-awaited wedding in Bali, Indonesia on the evening of March 22, 2014. The couple were engaged for four months before registering for marriage last August.
