Liu Tao is a Chinese actress from Jiangnan. She was born 12th July 1978. Her major works include My Fair Princess III, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, Dali Princess, Mazu, To Elderly With Love , Nirvana in Fire, Legend of Mi Yue and Ode to Joy.
Her performance as A'zhu in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils made her a household name, and she was named as one of the "Four Huadan" (四大花旦) at the Star Award Ceremony (星光大典). Her performance in To Elderly With Love garnered her a "Best Actress" award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award. In 2015, she was named "Best Actress" at the 13th Sina Weibo Awards Night for her performance in Nirvana in Fire and Legend of Mi Yue. In 2016, she won the "Best Supporting Actress" award at the Shanghai Television Festival and "Most Popular Actress" award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award for Legend of Mi Yue.
