Xinjiekou Station (Chinese: 新街口站) is an interchange station between Line 1 and Line 2 of the Nanjing Metro. It is located in Xinjiekou, the central business and commercial district of Nanjing. The largest station in the system, Xinjiekou station has 25 officially marked exits. On September 30, 2016 the station served a peak volume of 130,500 passengers. Line 1 and Line 2 have another interchange station: Yuantong Station.
Xinjiekou first opened on August 12, 2005, with the opening of Line 1. On May 28, 2010, Xinjiekou became an interchange when Line 2 began operation.
