WrestleMania 33 will be the thirty-third annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE for the Raw and SmackDown brands. It will take place on April 2, 2017, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It will be the second WrestleMania to be held at this venue, which hosted WrestleMania XXIV in 2008, and the third to be held in the state of Florida.
WrestleMania is considered WWE's flagship event, having been described as the Super Bowl of sports entertainment.
The tickets went on sale on November 18, 2016, with individual tickets costing $38 to $2,130. On October 31, 2016, traveling packages with accommodation ranging from $950 to $5,900 per person were sold.
The official theme song for the event is "Greenlight" by Pitbull featuring Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis.
On February 20, 2017, it was confirmed that The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods) would be the hosts of WrestleMania 33.
The card will include matches resulting from scripted storylines and have results predetermined by WWE on the Raw and SmackDown brands. Storylines are produced on WWE's weekly television shows, Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live, and 205 Live, the latter of which is cruiserweight-exclusive.
