The World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF) is a 10-day annual celebration of snowsports, music, arts and mountain life. The Festival is held each April in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. The 2016 World Ski & Snowboard Festival will take place April 8 to 17 and includes several events in the following three main categories: Music, Arts, and Sports.
Bud Light Freeride Club Series
Free nightly music concerts with some of your favourite artists at the village clubs and bars, courtesy of Kokanee.
Outdoor Concert Series
Canada's largest free outdoor concert series. 10 days of music concerts to keep the party flowing. Main Stage located in Skier's Plaza, free concerts 2:30pm – 5:30pm.
The END
The End is the season wrap-up party with the latest ending hours Whistler has to offer.

Bud Light Après Series
Whistler has always been famous for its après scene, and WSSF is bringing the party to the pubs.

A party like no other! Bring your dancing shoes, grab a pair of headphones and switch between three different DJs.
Parties & Nightlife
10 days of parties and nightlife all over Whistler village.
Fashion EXPOSED and Freeze Dance Showcase World Ski & Snowboard Festival will celebrate nearly a decade of fashion, form and function while the Freeze Dance Showcase crews will be showing off their best moves on the catwalk.
Intersection
Participants have 7 days to shoot, edit and produce a 5-7 minute sports short film. Teams must consist of both a skier and a snowboarder and each film must contain 30 seconds of park footage, 30 seconds of Whistler Blackcomb in-bound terrain, it must be shot within 100 km of Whistler and 75% of all footage must be on snow.

OLYMPUS 72hr. Filmmaker Showdown
Filmmakers are tasked to shoot, edit and produce a 3-5 minute short film within 100 km radius of Whistler over the course of 72 hours.

The Mountain Culture Variety Show
Coast Mountain Culture Magazine, and The Spearhead Huts Committee present the Mountain Culture Variety Show. It promises to be a show that will leave audience members’ palms sweaty and hearts pounding.[1]
