Woodmoor is a census-designated place (CDP) in El Paso County, Colorado, United States near the statutory town of Monument. The population was 8,741 at the 2010 census.

The approximate center of Woodmoor is 1.5 miles due east of the center of Monument, Colorado.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 6.4 square miles (17 km2), of which 6.3 square miles (16 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2), or 0.78%, is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7,177 people, 2,374 households, and 2,160 families residing in the community. The population density was 1,131.2 people per square mile (437.1/km²). There were 2,427 housing units at an average density of 382.5 per square mile (147.8/km²). The racial makeup of the community was 94.86% White, 0.74% African American, 0.33% Native American, 1.64% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.61% from other races, and 1.78% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.80% of the population.

There were 2,374 households out of which 46.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 85.9% were married couples living together, 3.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 9.0% were non-families. 7.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.02 the average family size is 3.17.
