The 2018 Wisconsin gubernatorial election will take place on November 6, 2018, to determine the governor and lieutenant governor of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It will occur concurrently with the election of Wisconsin's Class I U.S. Senate seat, as well as other elections to the United States Senate in other states and elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections.
Incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker is eligible to run for a third term, but has not announced yet whether he will do so.
In an April 2016 interview with the conservative website Townhall, incumbent Governor Scott Walker said that he is inclined to run for re-election to a third term. Walker has said he will announce his decision after the finalization of the 2017-2018 state budget.
