Wilkesville is a village in Vinton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 149 at the 2010 census.
Wilkesville was laid out in 1810. It was named after one Mr. Wilkes, the original owner of the town site. A post office called Wilkesville has been in operation since 1819. Wilkesville was incorporated as a village in 1881.

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.7% of the population.
There were 69 households of which 24.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.4% were married couples living together, 11.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 37.7% were non-families. 36.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
