Wicomico Middle School

Wicomico County Public Schools is the public school district in Wicomico County, Maryland. In July 2009, WCPS had 25 schools, consisting of 16 elementary, 1 elementary/middle, 3 middle, 1 middle/high and 4 high schools. The district had 14,633 students and more than 3,000 employees, including 1,232 certified teachers. It is the largest school district on the Eastern Shore.

Ethnicity of the district in 2009 was 55.4% White, 36.9% African American, 4.4% Hispanic, 3.1% Asian, and 0.15% American Indian. The graduation rate was 78.7% and drop out rate was 3.3%.
