The Western Bundjalung or Bundjalung people are a tribe of Australian Aboriginal people who inhabit north-east NSW along the Clarence River, now within the Clarence Valley, Glen Innes Severn Shire, Kyogle, Richmond Valley, and Tenterfield Shire Council areas.
Along with other members of Yugmbeh-Bundjalung Language Chain, the Western Bundjalung subscribe to the creation story of the Three Brothers.
They speak the Middle Clarence Language, known as the Bundjalung, a dialect cluster of the wider Bandjalangic language family.
The Western Bundjalung received a positive determination of Native Title on the 29th of August, 2017. This determination covered more than 800 areas of land and was the 10th in NSW.
