Wentworth is an incorporated village in Lake County, South Dakota, United States. It is the only incorporated village in the state of South Dakota. The population was 171 at the 2010 census.

Wentworth was platted in 1881, and named for the local Wentworth family, the original owner of the town site.

Wentworth is located at 43°59′48″N 96°57′58″W / 43.99667°N 96.96611°W / 43.99667; -96.96611 (43.996803, -96.966092).
