Ward No. 49, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 5, covering parts of Bowbazar and Sealdah neighbourhoods in central Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Chowranghee (Vidhan Sabha constituency).
The boundaries of the ward are: Surendra Lal Pyne Lane, Surya Sen Street is in the north. Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road and Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road, along with the Sealdah hump fly over, are to the east. Bepin Behari Ganguly Street is to the south. Raja Rammohan Roy Sarani is to the west.
