Wang Chuanjun (simplified Chinese: 王传君; traditional Chinese: 王傳君; pinyin: Wāng Chuánjūn; born 18 October 1985) also known as Eric Wang is a Chinese actor and host.
Wang is noted for playing Sekitani Kamiya in the romantic comedy television series iPartment, which enjoyed the highest ratings in China when it was broadcast.
Wang was born in Shanghai on October 18, 1985. He graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy, majoring in acting, Evonne Zhao, Michael Chen, Kimi Li were his classmates.
Wang began his career by attending the talent show Come on! Good Boy in Dragon TV.
Wang was one of the cast in Eyes of a Beauty in 2001, a film starring Ma Yili, Huang Yiqun and Yang Qianqian.
Wang starred in a number of successful sequels beginning with IPartment, which enjoyed the highest ratings in China and Wang quickly rose to prominence. In the romantic comedy television series IPartment, Wang played the role of Sekitani Kamiya, a Japanese manga artist from Yokohama, who falls in love with Tang Youyou, a Chinese actress. This was followed by IPartment 2, IPartment 3 and IPartment 4.
In 2010, Wang had a minor role as Sheng Tianjiao in Go La La Go!, which starred Wang Luodan as Du Lala.
In 2013, Wang starred as Lou Hao, reuniting him with co-star Deng Jiajia, who played Su Jialin, in the affectional film Sweet Summer Love.
