Walt Kyle (born June 11, 1956) is an American ice hockey coach. He is the current head coach of the Northern Michigan Wildcats, a position he has held since June 2002.

Kyle was an assistant coach, under Ron Wilson, for Team USA at the 1994 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships held in Bolzano, Italy. He coached at the National Hockey League level as an assistant with both the Anaheim Ducks (under Ron Wilson) and the New York Rangers (under Ron Low).

Kyle was an American Hockey League head coach with both the Baltimore Bandits and Hamilton Bulldogs.
