Walt Disney Platinum and Diamond Editions

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released several hundred titles to home video since 1978, as well as direct-to-video features. They have been released on VHS, Betamax, Laserdisc, CED Videodisc, CD Video, DVD, Universal Media Disc, and Blu-ray Disc. These are most of the notable releases that Disney put out on home video.

These were the titles licensed by Disney to MCA DiscoVision for their new videodisc format.

The first 13 titles put out for rental on March 4, 1980, when Disney was working with Fotomat to get into the video business. These titles were later made for sale along with rental in October 1980.

In addition to the 13 Fotomat titles being made for sale in late 1980, this is the release chart of Disney features from 1980 to 1983.
