Vinu Mohan is an Indian actor working in Malayalam cinema. His debut was through the award-winning movie Nivedyam by A. K. Lohithadas. He is the grandson of late actor Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair, son of actress Sobha Mohan and nephew of actor Saikumar.
Vinu Mohan was born on 24 March 1985 in Kottarakkara as the elder son of the late actor Mohan and actress Shobha Mohan. Film actor Anu Mohan, who made his debut through Orkut Oru Ormakoottu, is his younger brother. He did his schooling at Govt. Boys higher Secondary school Karunagappally and Govt Model B.H.S.S, Trivandrum . Vinu is married to actress Vidhya Mohan who was his co-star in Ee Thirakkinidayil.
He started his career with the multilingual film Ajantha, but its release was delayed till 2012. His first release was Nivedyam, for which he won the Asianet Best New Face Award in 2007. Saikumar was cast as the villain in the film Cycle, in which Vinu Mohan played the hero along with Vineeth Sreenivasan. In 2009, he acted alongside Mammootty in the film Chattambinadu. His upcoming film is Bombay Mittayi.
