Vinayakan is an Indian film actor who has appeared in Malayalam,Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood films.. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2016 for portraying the character Ganga in the film Kammatipaadam.

Vinayakan always wanted to become a choreographer and he had a dance troupe named Black Mercury and Fire dance was his forte. Director Thampi Kannanthanam introduced him in Maanthrikam and later in Onnaman. He was noticed in the film Stop Violence and won good reviews in the Mohanlal starrer Chotta Mumbai.

Vinayakan was unanimously appreciated for the terrific performance as Ganga in Rajeev Ravi' s 2016 film Kammatipaadam, where he made his debut as music director as well. He won The North American Film Award for Outstanding performance for the film Kammatipaadam.He won the Best Actor Award(2016) in Cinema Paradiso Club Cine Awards for his outstanding performance in Rajeev Ravi' s 2016 film Kammatipaadam
