Vikram Adve is a professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research group created the LLVM compiler infrastructure project. He is one of the pioneers of LLVM Project. His research interests include compilers and programming languages, and their use toward software security, system reliability, and parallel programming. Adve along with other main authors were given the 2012 ACM Software System Award for the LLVM project.
