Vikas Malpani (31 years old, born in Gujarat) is an Indian Internet entrepreneur and co-founder of Commonfloor.com, an online real estate portal for property seekers in India. He co-founded Commonfloor.com in the year 2007 along with Sumit Jain & Lalit Mangal. He heads CommonFloor Groups, the Apartment Management offering of CommonFloor.com that provides apartment residents with hassle-free community living.

Vikas graduated with a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University Bangalore in 2006. He then started working with SAP labs, where he was a part of the NetWeaver mobile Team.

During the course of his journey at CommonFloor.com, Vikas has been part of several crucial aspects of establishing the company, right from initial sales to campaign management, campaign execution to product road map and product management. He is heading the Commonfloor Groups, a division of CommonFloor.com which is online apartment management solution offering smarter solutions to cater to various needs related to living in a housing society, through a range of technology product & services over web and mobile app.

Vikas is a recipient of prestigious MIT-Technology Review 35 “Young Innovator of the year” award. Business World has recognized him as one of the “Hottest young entrepreneurs”.

Vikas has represented CommonFloor at many of the prestigious entrepreneurial and start-up forums.
