Vijayakumar is an Indian actor in Malayalam movies. He has acted more than 100 Malayalam films.

He is an actor who handled hero roles during the 1990s and later he started performing villain roles and character.

Vijayakumar was born as the second son among three children to producer Henry and Dora on May 8, 1968 at Thiruvananthapuram. His father was a producer in Malayalam movies and mother was a house wife. He has a younger sister, Reena and an elder brother, Ajay. He studied at Model high School, Trivandrum. He pursued bachelors in commerce from University College, Trivandrum.

He was married to Binu but ended in divorce. They have a daughter Arthana and a son, Aryan. Arthana made her debut in Muthugov a Malayalam movie with Suresh Gopi's son Gokul Suresh.
