Wadi al-Nasara (Arabic: وادي النصارى‎‎ / ALA-LC: Wādī an-Naṣārá, Greek: Κοιλάδα των Χριστιανών, Koiláda ton Christianón, which both mean "Valley of Christians") is an area in western Syria, close to the Lebanese border and administratively belonging to the governorate of Homs. Most people in the area are Eastern Orthodox Christians. Wadi al-Nasara used to be a popular tourist site before the outbreak of the Syrian civil war. In September 2016, there were around 250 000 inhabitants, including more than 210 000 Christians, and 8 000 displaced families coming from other regions from Syria, and especially Homs.
