Strasbourg Eurométropole or Eurométropole de Strasbourg (formerly the Urban Community of Strasbourg) is the intercommunal structure gathering the city of Strasbourg (France) and its 32 suburbs on French territory. It has roughly half a million inhabitants.
The Urban Community of Strasbourg (French: Communauté urbaine de Strasbourg), also known by its French initials CUS, was founded in 1967. It became a metropolis on 1 January 2015.
