Umbarger, Texas
Umbarger (/ˈʌmbɑːrɡər/ UM-bar-gər) is an unincorporated community in Randall County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had an estimated population of 327 in 2000. The community is part of the Amarillo, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Umbarger is located at 34°57′16″N 102°06′20″W / 34.95444°N 102.10556°W (34.9545022, -96.2510895). The community is situated along U.S. Highway 60 in west central Randall County, approximately 10 miles southwest of Canyon and 26 miles southwest of Amarillo.
According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Umbarger has a semi-arid climate, abbreviated "BSk" on climate maps.
