Ulvön Island is an island in The High Coast of Sweden archipelago. Ulvön is the largest and the most popular. Ulvön is not only one island but two: a northern and a southern island.
The island of Ulvön has been a major fishing island since the mid part of the 16th century. Back then fishermen came from Gävle for the Baltic herring. Today Ulvön Island has remained a fishing island but the number of visitors has risen dramatically over the last decade.
