UNI Financial Cooperation

UNI Financial Cooperation (French: UNI Coopération financière), formerly the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes, is a credit union based in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. It is a largely francophone organization but in recent years has been expanding into anglophone parts of the province.

UNI had approximately $3.8 billion in assets as of December 31, 2016. It has been associated with Mouvement Desjardins since 1990.

UNI became the first federally incorporated credit union in Canada when it converted to a federal charter in 2016.

Its current CEO is Camille Thériault, the former premier of New Brunswick.
