Twice as Nice Productions is a production team based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 2011 by Nicholas Audino & Lewis Hughes. Twice As Nice have produced and composed music with artists such as Lil Wayne, Ella Vos,Ty Dolla $ign,Rihanna,Tiësto,Kid Ink,Ariana Grande and many others. In 2017, Twice as Nice received three Grammy nominations for their work with Rihanna and Ariana Grande.
Nicholas Audino and Lewis Hughes met in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia. In 2011, they signed to EMI Music Publishing in New York. In 2012 the company moved its headquarters to New York and later relocated to Los Angeles, where they are now based. In 2015, producers Khaled Rohaim and Te Whiti Warbrick (SickDrumz) joined the company. In October 2016 Te Whiti (SickDrumz) signed a co-pub deal with Universal Music Publishing as a joint venture with Electric Feel Music LLC & Twice As Nice Publishing LLC.
In 2015, Twice as Nice began working with the artist Michl. Michl released his first song "Kill Our Way to Heaven" in November 2015 to much critical acclaim. His second release, "When You Loved Me Least" was met with similar acclaim. Critics described the track as one which made "the most of this Californian's vulnerable voice and his torn falsetto to communicate the romantic ouch in this downtempo R&B tune." MICHL has since released his self-titled Debut EP, which was executively produced by Twice As Nice.
In 2015 Twice as Nice started working with the artist Ella Vos. Twice as Nice produced a number of tracks for Ella Vos, including "White Noise", "Down in Flames" and "Little Brother". In September 2016 artist Ella Vos' debut single "White Noise" was released. It reached the number 1 position on both of Spotify's US and Global Viral Songs charts, resulting in over 1 million streams in 15 days. In January 2017 Ella Vos made her live debut in Los Angeles.
