Tuen Mun Hospital ({{zh|t=屯門醫院|cy=Tyùhn Mùhn Yīyún) is a public hospital with a 24-hour casualty unit situated in northern Tuen Mun in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Construction began in 1979, and was opened on 8 March 1990. It is managed by the Hospital Authority, and is grouped under the New Territories West Cluster.
During the Manila hostage crisis in August 2010, the Hong Kong casualties who had survived were brought to this hospital to be treated.
Tuen Mun Hospital was designed by the Architectural Services Department and the general contractor for its construction was Aoki Corporation. It was topped out in a ceremony hosted by Sir David Akers-Jones on 28 August 1986, at which time it was the largest hospital under construction in the world.
The hospital opened on 8 March 1990 and cost HK$1.2 billion. The accident and emergency department opened on 30 July 1990.
This is a list of the current and former chairmen of the committee:
Appointed by the Hospital Authority, the Hospital Chief Executive is in charge of managing the hospital and reports to the Hospital Governing Committee.
As of March 2013[update], the hospital has 1,784 beds and around 5,361 members of staff. For the year ended 31 March 2013, it has treated 156,952 inpatients and day-patients, 657,729 specialist outpatients, and 766,062 general outpatients.
The ground floor of the hospital is occupied by the casualty ward, and a day-care centre. The hospital has recently established a trauma unit and a neo-natal intensive care unit.
It is served by Tuen Mun Hospital Stop of the MTR Light Rail, which is inside Zone 3 for single-ride ticket.
