Tristramella is a genus of fishes in the Cichlidae family. The members of this genus are restricted to Israel and Syria, where they are among the relatively few native cichlids (the others are Astatotilapia flaviijosephi, Oreochromis aureus, O. niloticus, Sarotherodon galilaeus , and Coptodon zillii).

Tristramella simonis intermedia and T. s. magdelainae are extinct, T. sacra may be extinct, and T. s. simonis is confined to one locality but there it remains abundant and it is not considered threatened.

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:

Note that while FishBase treats T. s. intermidia and T. s. magdelainea as subspecies of T. simonis, the IUCN treats them as full species while the Catalog of Fishes treats them as junior synonyms of T. simonis.
