Tommy Janor Hollis (March 22, 1954 - September 9, 2001) was an American actor. A native of Jacksonville, Texas, his first movie was Ghostbusters as the mayor's aide (1984), he starred as Earl Little in the Spike Lee-directed movie Malcolm X (1992). Leon [The Professional] (1994), Primary Colors as Fat Willie with John Travolta (1998), New York Undercover TV series as Earl Briggs (1997), The Piano Lesson as Avery (1995), The Vernon Johns Story with James Earl Jones (1994), Separate But Equal as Harry Briggs Sr. (1991), Moonstruck as a parking attendant (1987), Mama Flora's Family as Reverend Jackson (1998), Joe's apartment as Boss Plumber (1996) And in the Piano Lesson as Avery Brown (November 26, 1987). He died in New York City from complications of diabetes. Tommy had suffered from a Diabetic Coma and died. Tommy had no children. Tommy leaves behind brothers and sisters that truly miss him.
