Toledo is a village in Cumberland County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,238 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Cumberland County.

Toledo is part of the CharlestonMattoon Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Toledo is located in the center of Cumberland County at 39°16′20″N 88°14′34″W / 39.27222°N 88.24278°W / 39.27222; -88.24278 (39.272115, -88.242778).Illinois Route 121 passes through the village, leading southeast 5 miles (8 km) to Greenup. Neoga is 14 miles (23 km) to the west.

According to the 2010 census, Toledo has a total area of 0.91 square miles (2.36 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,166 people, 510 households, and 314 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,461.0 people per square mile (562.7/km²).
