Tokigawa (ときがわ町 Tokigawa-machi?) is a town located in Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture, in the central Kantō region of Japan. As of 1 February 2016[update], the town had an estimated population of 11,411and a population density of 203 persons per km². Its total area was 55.90 km².
Tokigawa is located in central Saitama Prefecture.
The villages of Myōkaku and Tamagawa were created within Hiki District, Saitama with the establishment of the municipalities system on April 1, 1889. Myōkaku merged with the village of Okunugi from Chichibu District to form the village of Tokigawa on February 1, 1955. Tokigawa and Tamagawa merged to form the town of Tokigawa on February 1, 2006.
Tokigawa has three elementary schools and two middle schools.
Tokigawa is not served by any expressways or national highways
