Tiruvottiyur taluk

Tiruvottiyur taluk is a taluk of Tiruvallur district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is Tiruvottiyur a neighbourhood of Chennai. The Tiruvottiyur taluk comes under the Chennai Metropolitan Area.

Tiruvottiyur, Ennore, Kathivakkam, Manali, Manali New Town are some of the important areas that falls under the jurisdiction of Tiruvottiyur taluk. The taluk is carved out from Madhavaram taluk to form a new taluk in 2014.
