Tipolo is one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.
The barangay's total land area is 655 hectares (1,620 acres). According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 2,526. In the ? electoral roll, it had 1,426 registered voters, meaning that 56% of the population are aged 18 and over.
Tipolo celebrates its annual fiesta on 5 April in honor of their patron saint.
Located in the east of the municipality, Tipolo is bounded to the north by San Isidro, to the east by Union, to the south by Imelda and to the west by Katarungan. It is 4 km (2.5 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.
The place was named after the tipolo (breadfruit) tree (Artocarpus incisa), which was in abundance in the area.
There are seven puroks overseen by the elected kagawads.
