The Austro-Hungarian Third Army was an Austro-Hungarian field army that fought during World War I.
The Austro-Hungarian Third Army was formed in August 1914 and deployed on the Russian Front.
It was moved to the Balkans in September 1915 to participate in the successful Second invasion of Serbia (1915).
After the invasion and occupation of Montenegro, it was moved to the Italian Front to participate in the Battle of Asiago in May 1916.
By the end of 1916, the Third Army was moved again to the Russian Front, where it remained active there until it was disbanded in January 1918.
