The Peppermints is an Italian-Sammarinese girl group. They represented San Marino at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta.

On 27 November 2014, SMRTV announced that Simoncini would represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, along with Michele Perniola, San Marino's Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 representative and brother of bandmate Rafaella Perniola.

Despite competing at Eurovision without the other Peppermints, Simoncini said in December 2014 that the group plans to stay together. In January, the group officially announced that it will go on tour together in 2015. In October 2015, Doveri announced her departure from the group. Simoncini, Perniola, and Dall'Olio left the group prior to June 2016 and were replaced by Alixia Mistral and Sofia Casieri.
