The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway Tour was a North American and European concert tour by English rock band Genesis. The tour began on November 1974 in Chicago and ended on 22 May 1975 in Besançon, France. It was staged to promote their 1974 concept album of the same name. On each show, the album was played in its entirety with only one or two older songs as encores. It was the group's last tour with singer and founding member Peter Gabriel and was marked by its extensive theatricality, with multiple costumes worn by Gabriel, a stage show involving three backdrop screens that displayed 1,450 slides from eight projectors, a laser lighting display, and varied practical effects.
