The Gospel Coalition, or TGC, is a network of "broadly Reformed" evangelical churches founded in 2005 by Christian pastor/theologians D. A. Carson and Tim Keller. The mission of TGC is to encourage and educate "current and next-generation" Christian leaders by advocating "gospel-centered principles and practices." The ministry seeks to extend its influence through its website, conferences, publications, and other projects and initiatives. It has a very strong Calvinist bent, with an emphasis on cultural transformation.

The leadership of TGC consists of 55 members, mostly pastors, who form the TGC Council. In addition to Carson and Keller, TGC Council members include such prominent pastors as Danny Akin, Alistair Begg, Bryan Chapell, Mark Dever, Kevin DeYoung, Ligon Duncan, Kent Hughes, Erwin Lutzer, Albert Mohler, Russell D. Moore, Ray Ortlund, David Platt, John Piper, Philip G. Ryken, and Sam Storms.

Previous Council members include Mark Driscoll, who left in March 2012 as "part of a major reorganization of his priorities". In March 2014, Joshua Harris stepped down "in light of the ongoing civil suit against his church", and C.J. Mahaney resigned "for a variety of reasons".Darrin Patrick left the Council in April 2016 as a result of disciplinary action taken by his home church.
