Thakur Jaiveer Singh

Jaiveer Singh is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Barauli constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2002 and 2007. Singh was a minister in the Mayawati government of 2007 to 2012.

His wife Raj Kumari Chauhan was MP of Aligarh (Lok Sabha constituency). His son, Arvind Kumar Singh, was the youngest candidate in India Lok Sabha MP 2014, contesting the Aligarh.

He lost his seat in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election to Hairom Yadav of the Samajwadi Party.
