Talmadge is a town in Washington County, Maine, United States. The town was named after landowner Benjamin Talmadge. The population was 64 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 39.06 square miles (101.16 km2), of which, 37.80 square miles (97.90 km2) of it is land and 1.26 square miles (3.26 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 64 people, 30 households, and 21 families residing in the town. The population density was 1.7 inhabitants per square mile (0.7/km2). There were 61 housing units at an average density of 1.6 per square mile (0.6/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 100.0% White.
There were 30 households of which 26.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 13.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 30.0% were non-families. 30.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 10% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.13 and the average family size was 2.52.
