Takarabe Station (財部駅 Takarabe-eki) is a railway station of JR Kyushu Nippō Main Line in Soo, Kagoshima, Japan. This station has two platforms. It is an unmanned station with a restaurant in the same building and a bathroom.
To get a ticket when going to Takarabe station simply buy one at any manned station. If getting on the train at an unmanned station you can buy one from the conductor as there is no fare adjustment window at Takarabe station.
To get a ticket when leaving from Takarabe station you take a numbered ticket as you enter the train. When you get off the train you pay for you amount at the fare adjustment window at any manned station. Sometimes the conductor will walk by and ask you to pay.
There are two platforms at Takarabe. Platform 1 is usually used for trains bound for Kagoshima City. Platform 2, which is across a pedestrian bridge that goes over the tracks, is used for trains bound for Miyazaki Prefecture.
