Sweetwater High School is a public high school located in the city of Sweetwater, Texas, USA and classified as a 4A school by the UIL. It is a part of the Sweetwater Independent School District located in north central Nolan County. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Sweetwater High School has a rich tradition in amateur sports. SHS's football teams play in the Mustang Bowl, built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Sweetwater's football tradition has produced 627 wins, fourth-most all-time in Texas class 3A rankings. Football legend Sammy Baugh played for Sweetwater in the Mustang Bowl, and is a member of the UIL All Century Team. Kathleen Darnell won the 1927-1928 (all schools) State Championship in tennis. Walter Romine won the 1961-62 3A Tennis Singles Championship and Fred Scott and Mike Boles won the 1971-1972 3A Doubles Championship. In 1979-80, Sylvia Layfield and Connie Weber won the State 3A Doubles title. In golf, Scott Morgan won the 1971-72 3A Individual state title. SHS basketball star Nicole "Nikki" Heath was a starter on Texas Tech University's 1993 National Championship team.
