Sveinbjörn Johnson (July 10, 1883 – March 16, 1946) was a justice on the Supreme Court of North Dakota from 1923 to 1926.
Johmson was born at Hólar in Hjaltadal in the Skagafjörður district of northern Iceland. He came to Dakota Territory with his parents in 1887. He attended the University of North Dakota receiving a bachelor of arts degree in 1906, a master of arts degree in 1907 and a law degree in 1908. He also undertook graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin. In 1911 he opened a law office in Cavalier, North Dakota and in 1913 moved to Grand Forks. Later he became lawyer and Professor of Law at the University of Illinois. On January 1, 1945, he opened a law office in Chicago He also ran unsuccessfully for the position of Illinois attorney general.
