Sursand (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: सुरसन्द विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Sitamarhi district in the Indian state of Bihar.
As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, 26. Sursand (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Sursand, Charaut and Pupri community development blocks.
Sursand (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of 5. Sitamarhi (Lok Sabha constituency).
In the November 2010 state assembly elections, Shahid Ali Khan of JD(U) won the Sursand assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Jainandan Prasad Yadav of RJD. Jainandan Prasad Yadav of RJD defeated Baidyanath Prasad of BJP in October 2005 and February 2005. Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned.
